The Fruits of Contemplation Retreat

This retreat will offer examples of contemplatives in the church who can speak to us today. Leading the contemplative retreat is Abbot Dom Augustine Myslinski, OCSO, a Trappist with the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia. He will lead participants of the retreat in the following:
-The development of intimacy prayer with Jesus, foundational for ministry
-Appreciate a sense of beauty in which Christ is the expression of beauty
-The practice of ancient Lectio Divina as a specific way of prayer leads to intimacy with Christ
-A contemplative approach can help foster communion with others
-Developing an inner posture of listening to God and each other
